Who Is CL Frost, Inc.?

Founded in 1920, CL Frost, Inc., has been owned and operated by Mark Woltmon since 1979. Mark’s father owned a tile installation company and Mark learned from the ground up. It was a natural progression, in 1984, to expand into stone fabrication. Mark hires seasoned professionals and is a hands-on owner. CL Frost, Inc., runs two fabrication shops, which allows for flexibility and depth when it comes to scheduling and running projects. Two shops also allows for a broad array of talent, which brings solid solutions to every project.

Years ago, CL Frost, Inc., also did roofing and sand blasting. These are no longer a part of the company due to a desire to concentrate on tile and stone.

What Services Do We Offer?

• We install ceramic tile and stone tile.
• We furnish, fabricate, and install stone and quartz surfaces.
• We provide free bids.
• We help you decide on the appropriate material, edges, and finish.
• We offer a stone cleaning and sealing service -- featuring StoneTech products.

What Products Do We Offer?

• We have one of the largest slab yards in the Monterey Peninsula -- granite, marble, limestone, and travertine.
• We also carry quartz surfaces -- CeasarStone, Zodiac, and other manufactured stone.
• We work closely with many showrooms on the Monterey Peninsula and Gilroy.
• We offer green manufactured stone made from recycled material in beautiful colors.
• Both Sand City and Gilroy have extensive remnants from which to choose.

How Does a Project Begin and Progress?

You may call, make an appointment, or walk-in for help with budget pricing, preliminary planning, or firm bids. You may also simply browse. We welcome contractors and private parties, new construction and remodels. Once the bid is approved, we will schedule a time to make templates. This is also the time to select your material – tile and / or stone. Details are important and we can help you with your choice of edges, finish, and layout. From here, we fabricate your piece(s), deliver, and install.
